Advent Fair: Sunday 21st November, 10am-3pm

The Advent Fair is not only part of our school's festival calendar, but also a major fund raiser and a real highlight of the year for the school. Much work goes into making the fair a day of wonder for our own children and the wider community. It  focuses on activities, storytelling, music and craft embracing the advent theme in a friendly and relaxed family atmosphere.

Adults and children, alike, crafted their own advent wreaths, and beeswax or rainbow-dipped candles to take home ready for the festive season ahead.

Music from talented parents, teachers and local musicians filled the courtyard - enjoyed with espresso coffee and scrumptious fare from the café.

Over in the kindergarten, younger children visited the Fairy Queen in her secret flowering bush grotto, enjoyed treats in the magical children’s café and bought handmade treasures all by themselves from the children’s bazaar. There was puppet plays from the kindergarteners and the daring flying fox ride over the pond for the adventurous.

The fair also featured exquisite handmade advent calendars, homemade Christmas baking, the very popular designer clothes seconds’ boutique and a wide range of stallholders, not to mention classic fair essentials like the White Elephant, raffles, coconut shy, archery and much more.

All parents from Nursery to High School are involved in the preparation and the running of the day including Play Group too.

Have a look at some pictures from the event here.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a wonderful day.
