BID & BOOGIE: Saturday, 13th August, 7.30pm

We invite you to join us for a unique evening of art and entertainment promising big names and lots of fun in a ‘bid’ to raise funds for essential building work at the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner Playgroup. Take the opportunity to invite your friends along too for a fabulous night out together.

 

Playgroup faces a massive fundraising task to complete its building for Ministry of Education compliance and parents have gone all out to host a fantastic event. Read on….

BOOGIE TO LIVE MUSIC

  • Music courtesy of “cabaret punk” big band Macombee And The Absolute Truth, and local band Giddyup, led by ex-Pudding member Pete Force, who promises a bit of “lyrical rock ‘n’ roll”.
  • MC for the night is current affairs journalist and Fair Go presenter Phil Vine
  • Stylingby Robin Rawstorne who has designed for NZ Opera, the NZ Music Awards, and Splore to name a few.

 

The event is also supported by Sir Bob Harvey, who has donated a life-size painting by Peter Hackett, of NZ Olympic athlete Sir Peter Snell – signed by the subject himself!
