CLASS 12 PLAY: Wed 3rd - Fri 5th July, 7pm
The Class 12 Play is a major event in the calendar at every Waldorf/Steiner School – and one of the highpoints of the education for every student. This will be the first Class 12 Play for our school which, for this year, also includes the Class 10 students. We hope as many parents as possible will attend the Play in support of the artistic endeavour of these students and their teacher, and also experience what students in their final years of this education are capable of achieving.
The play chosen is a dark comedy – with a serious message. Set in Europe, but universally relevant, it is about the nature of good and evil and the individual’s relationship to it – and is just as relevant now as it was when penned. The play highlights the risks of shying away from political and social responsibility, and we see how an individual capitulates to evil to save his own skin regardless of the cost to others. Class 12 & 10 encourage you to come and see this challenging, thought-provoking and entertaining play.
The Play is suitable for Class 7 students and above. Due to some of the content, children younger than this will not be admitted.
Performances held on Wednesday 3rd, Thursday 4th & Friday 5th July - 7.30pm. Doors open and refeshments available from 6.15pm.
