Hannah Eichler is a European trained Waldorf Kindergartner with 40 years of experience. She has written two educational books in German, resource material for educators working with toddlers, and various articles. She was president of an organisation called “Switch Off and Play” and has given talks and workshops for more than a decade on this most important theme.
We all are aware that television, computers and electronic games have changed our children’s behaviour. Do we know enough? How much do we really know about how the screen changes children’s more inner being, their brain structure and their ability to comprehend complex language and written literature?
