Roads Less Travelled: Anthroposophical Society Conference, 4th-7th October

“Roads Less Travelled: Working and Engaging with a Changing World”

This year’s conference of the Anthroposophical Society will be held at Michael Park School, 55 Amy Street, Ellerslie, Auckland, 4th-7th October.

The conference speaker is Peter Blom of Triodos Bank, recognised as one of the leading ethical banks in the world and based in the Netherlands. Peter was instrumental in creating the Global Alliance for Banking on Values, and is a Knight of the Oranje Nassau – the Dutch version of the New Zealand Order of Merit.

The titles of the three morning talks he is to give are:

“I think with my knee anyway” – a quote from Joseph Beuys – which will look at the discrepancy between what we think and what we do;

“From directing to connecting” which will focus on how we work with others; and

“An emerging culture for the future” that will use practical examples to show how we can bring the emerging future into what we do.
