Sharing, Honouring, Blessing: Monday Evening & Tuesday Morning
To: All friends and families of the Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School, past and present,
The College of Teachers and the Rudolf Steiner Schools (Titirangi) Trustees
invite you to attend
ceremonies to bring the Past, the Present and the Future together.
Ceremonies will be led by Mana Whenua elders of Te Kawerau a Maki iwi.
Monday, 27th October
6.00 pm shared supper in the Kindergarten
6.30 pm - 8.00 pm A space and time to be together and to share memories, stories and photos
Honouring of the land, the people, the community
A time for all to share and reflect the stories and images of the past that shape and form the school and community as it is today and where we are moving forward into the future
Please bring something nutritious along to share.
8.00pm Noho (overnight sleepover) in the hall
Tuesday, 28th October
5.30 am gathering at school gates
5.45 am Dawn Ceremony led by Mana Whenua Te Kawerau a Maki Kaumatua Eru Thompson and elders
Honouring of the land and the ancestors
7.00 am Breakfast in the hall foyer. Please bring a plate of nutritious food to share

8.45 am school assembly
Te Kawerau a Maki Kaumatua Eru Thompson speaking in assembly to children, friends, and families of the school.
A blessing of the new classrooms and honouring the path forward for the school
Response from the teachers and children including Speech, Eurythmy and a Karakia.
All are welcome to attend and be present for all or part of these Ceremonial Events.
