International students

Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School welcomes international students to the school community.

The Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School is small with a warm and vibrant school community situated in the Waitakere Ranges on the foreshore of the Manukau Harbour and the outskirts of Auckland City.

Children younger than Class 7 must be living with their parents for the duration of their stay. Students from Class 7 to 12 can live with their parents, with designated caregivers or in school arranged homestays for the duration of their stay.

Lessons for English For Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) are provided if the Class Teacher deems it necessary and are an additional cost.

In addition, students are helped with their class work as the need arises. This can cover their English lessons with their class teacher or main lesson work including homework if they have not understood what is required.

The tuition fee for international students is $11,740 per annum plus GST (currently 15%). Please enquire about fees for shorter visits.

The school is a signatory to the Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students.

If any unresolved financial or contractual disputes arise with the school, you can access a free independent disputes resolution service for international students.  Accessing this service will be covered with students and families during their application process and orientation at school. Further information can be found here.
