Class Teachers 2018 - Class One & Six


Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School is an independent Steiner/Waldorf school nestled in the Waitakere Ranges on a large, bush-clad site in West Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand.


The school comprises a playgroup, nursery, four kindergartens (including the recently established outdoor kindergarten, Te Ngahere), Lower and Upper Schools.


We are seeking a Class Teacher for both Class One and Class Six beginning January 2018, with a view to taking the class until the end of Class Eight.


Knowledge of the Steiner/Waldorf pedagogy and dedication to developing a deeper understanding of this form of education is essential.


Applicants should hold, or be able to acquire, New Zealand teaching registration. We are flexible on the starting date for the right teacher.

Eurythmy Teacher

The School is seeking a Eurythmist to work with the Upper School, Lower School and Early Childhood classes.

Eurythmy is a core subject at the School and teachers wish to continue to support this art form within the curriculum and the life of the School. A new colleague is invited to join this dynamic independent school in forming its future. Teaching experience is vital. The position commences as soon as mutually convenient.

Science Teacher - Upper School

The Upper School seeks experienced sciences teacher (NZ registered). Physics and chemistry strengths desirable. The position is initially 0.6 with the expectation that it will grow. Knowledge of Steiner Waldorf curriculum is preferable but mentoring is available.
