Learn the Art of Living Willow Fences
Join us for a special Living Fences Workshop at Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School and discover how to create beautiful, functional living fences using basket willow.
Facilitated by Guenther Andraschko, a Permaculture NZ-affiliated teacher, lead facilitator for the Matakana Permaculture Design Course, and professional permaculture landscape designer with over 25 years’ experience, this hands-on workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn practical skills while working in harmony with the landscape.
Together we will create two permanent living fence projects on the school grounds. Participants will learn how to establish living willow fences from cuttings, including site selection, preparation, planting, weaving techniques, and ongoing care — skills that can be taken home and applied in their own gardens.
