Friedwart Sketches Painting Workshop

Titirangi Rudolf Steiner School is delighted to offer the Friedwart Sketches Painting Workshop, hosted by artist and teacher Susie Gay. The Friedwart Sketches were created by Rudolf Steiner in 1923 as artistic exercises for adolescents and as a training path for adults. Working with watercolour and pastel motifs, participants explore how form arises from the dynamic interplay of colour, light and movement, cultivating sensitivity, discipline and creative expression. This workshop offers a unique opportunity for community members to engage in this meaningful artistic practice and deepen their connection with Steiner’s pedagogical arts. All are welcome, and no prior painting experience is necessary – only a willingness to explore colour and form with openness and curiosity.
